HOW ARE YOU?
How is the Lin family my scrumptious son?
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
I WAS SCREAMING READING LAST WEEK'S LETTER. I thought the line that read "Mom, I'm so safe it's not even funny" should have said "it's not even funny." because I didn't really find it very funnythat you were running down the street with a tin roof flying over your head. MOOOKKKIIIEEEEEEE! Thank you for the six hours you did spend inside, you crazy nut brain peanut juice head! YOU BE CAREFUL!
I LOVE BEAN CURD ICE CREAM!
How are Zhu Hong Cheng and The Yang family? Did you meet with Labber and Alan?
DID YOU GET TO WATCH GENERAL CONFERENCE?
I'm so so excited for all your news!
We have enjoyed such a blessed week. I looked at my parents in the temple and thought that the greatest dream I have is to see all of my children in the temple together. This was that day for them, all seven in the sealing room together. There was so much joy in that sealing room. The sealer was incredibly tender, and couldn't get through a sentence or two without emotion. He spoke of eternal families, becoming parents, how the blessings just keep coming and coming, how Scott and Jeni's children were most likely there and were so excited to see their parents being sealed. It was so beautiful. Sacred, holy, perfect, joyous, so RIGHT. They are so perfect together. You are going to love Scott. Super chill, loves life, never seems to let anything get him down, he's a lot like you that way.
We had pictures with so much joy, a wedding breakfast where we sang the love song like we always do, and a super super fun afternoon reception outside and made to order Jeni type dance party. PERFECT DAY. It was October, 70 degrees and so sunny. They are so happy and so so in love. All of your Anderson aunts and uncles were able to attend, miraculously. A hurricane had grounded big Spencer, but he was able to ride it out after boarding up his house, and get another ticket and come at 10 the night before the wedding.
NEXT FOR YOU, A CRAZY COOL STORY:
After the wedding at a park in Provo, we cleaned up and headed over to Angie and Evan's new home by the Y. Big Spencer and Jon were in the green van. They drove by the MTC, and THE MOST AMAZING THING HAPPENED! Out of 2000 missionaries at the MTC, you guessed it, there was one group of 6 walking home after playing soccer on the temple grounds. Dallin was RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAR! Jon was out in less than a second hugging his boy. They didn't plan it, they didn't try to, it was just a tender mercy.
Do you remember when I asked you to go get ready for church and you came down in a Walmart sack and nothing else, the straps over your shoulders. Well, check your email for a picture of Seth......
In other news, I got stung by something right on my eyeball and had to go get it taken out at emergency, that was fun. All is well now, but I spent a day with my eyes closed. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR SIGHT!
My precious son, you are ministering to people who have their eyes closed spiritually, and I'm telling you, it's miserable. Thank you for all you do to bring light into their lives. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. ~! We missed you so much this week. The phrase that runs through my mind over and over is "ridiculous splendor". I feel so blessed, it really is ridiculous. I want every action, every move, every breath to be a passionate expression of my gratitude to my Heavenly Father. The world is bathed in the gorgeous glory of fall color and I just plead that I can accomplish the work valiantly and joyously that He has for me to do. I just wish I could do more and be better. SO BLESSED! You are one of my greatest blessings.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
WITH SO VERY MUCH LOVE, LOVE YOUR MAMA more things, it has been a sacred week for me doing flowers for so many hours with Grandma Jan. She worked until her fingers cramped up and she couldn't move them. We were quite a pair, me with my eyes closed and the eye patched, her with her hands cramped to paralyzation. Marcia Slichta came over and saved us.
Another happy thought, God doesn't throw anything away. He remodels, even offers heart transplants "what can I do to have this wicked heart rooted out of my breast", he offers extreme makeovers, but he does not, will not throw anyone away.
