When the kids are getting ready to turn eight, I always notice a big change, big growth in a lot of ways. Joseph's legs are getting longer, and so is his little memory and attention span. He is playing the piano more, reading more, and a little more aware that the world is bigger than what is right in front of his face. He is such a social animal, probably the most of any of the boys so far. Sometimes one friend isn't enough, so he calls to take the two friends he has over to see if they can go to another kid's house. I have to make an effort to get into his world because he just kind of runs crazy doing his thing. He loves "Seffers" and is so very cute with Annie. Thier relationship has blossomed a lot more lately with more intelligent play and interaction. He made another politician comment last night, "I wanted to have ____, but what I really wanted was something healthy. I just couldn't find anything right then...." Obama better watch out.

Okay, all yousaid is true and there's lots more! How I love this boy and how I love being next door so I can help keep him fed! I know he loves to come to see me, but I also know he loves free run of the sugar cereal! "3"
