Mooks is so fun. I really miss him. Ir feels like I don't see him much, after being with him 24/7 for 3 years. He is enjoying the social aspect of school. His teacher is giving him some fun projects. She wants him to write a play for the class to perform, and she sent him home with a solar-powered mini-car to fix. She is great. He is a funny kind of clean. He prefers the same pants, etc. every day. He knows right where his stuff is, his little wallet is chained to his belt loop, and he keeps his Legoland hat in the same place every day. He's still fiddling, and though he more often does big boy things, I love it when he will go down in the basement and play "foam wars" (beating each other up with swim noodles cut in half). He is really growing fast in every way lately. He's leaving some of those younger boy things behind, and that is kind of an achy feeling, but how can I be sad when he is becoming such a wonderful guy?
