Good morning Joseph Ross I can’t believe that it’s Monday again! This week went so super fast! So excited to hear about your week and your zone and your companion and your investigators and your chicken wings and your cute face and how everything is going. I love you so very very much. This week was super fun for us. I did something crazy and jumped in the car with Annie Bella Emily Ayre and Missy and Jamie Roller and we went to Arches and went rock climbing with Mikey and Lydia and then Spenny!! and Lindsay and it was so fun. We went camping in Green River Utah and it was just spectacular It was the most beautiful day in Arches I’ve ever had. The weather was cool and the sky was such a brilliant blue and it was just so fun. It was seriously 48 hours of straight giggling. It was so good for Ani is so fun. We had a miracle yesterday and one of our meetings and I am just wanted to tell you about it. It was so sweet but they have a method where the young women’s classes are started with a little bit of counseling they’re supposed to talk to each other and see how they’re doing what’s going on in life talk about their last activity talk about their next activity level and it supposed to take like 20 minutes of the hour lesson. One of the teachers was really struggling understanding why we would miss this much time for gospel instruction and while we were talking about it heavenly father taught her the purpose of the exercise. She realized in real time how important it was for the girls to feel part of the group to fill individually check done for the activities to be centered around the girls needs and goals. And for each girl to feel loved. She said I understand for the first time and this how can we bear each other‘s burdens if we don’t know what they are. Then she said this is what suicide prevention looks like and we found out afterward that her daughter had taken her own life. We watched heavenly father minister to her and teach her his program in real time. It was amazing. On our way home from the trip and Mookie and Lydia took all the girls rock climbing and then Spenny!! and Lizzie dead. It was so sweet our family is just so awesome and I love everybody so much. We may go to Mexico for Christmas in fact we’re planning on it can we pick you up? Just kidding. I’ve been thinking about how much the gospel of Jesus Christ is just about loving people no matter where they are or what they’ve done or what they haven’t done. I love this quote: “Nothing is so much calculated to lead people to forsake sin as to take them by the hand, and watch over them with tenderness. When persons manifest the least kindness and love to me, O what power it has over my mind, while the opposite course has a tendency to harrow up all the harsh feelings and depress the human mind” (History of the Church, 5:23–24).
