Piano sucks By Seth Christensen In my personal opinion, A, PANO SUUUUUUUUUCKS! B, It is unhealthy for a twelve year old boy to be trapped in a room and to be forced to play the piano against their will. C, a boy's future is mostly based on their childhood. It's a waste of time, you know. -Janalyn Christensen D, By not playing the piano, I will be able to focus on the instruments I care and enjoy, boosting my future capability ten fold. E, According to Classic FM, “Being a pianist means that, more often than not, you're on your own. No space for you in the orchestra unless it's a concerto. No place in the chamber ensemble unless there's budget to move a Steinway. No practice room hi-jinks unless you pay people to hang out with you. F, Also by classic FM, “You think your fingers are over-stretched? Robert Schumann, the composer made a contraption to actually yank his fingers beyond their natural reach. The result? He couldn't play the piano anymore. Ouch.” After all that has been laid on the table, I give you a final offering of letting me off of piano, or me going on strike. I end this essay with a merciful hand stretched out to my parents to not force their unwilling child to torture beyond measure. With these hard earned callused feet and hands, I beg you to let this child find his own destiny. Life sucks : funny *After long terms of arguments and negotiations, There has been a situation where if Seth Christensen, ( the author of this essay) plays for an hour a day for a year, he gets a dog. The woman who birthed this prodigy boy told him, “ you know this is a waste of time you know.” This essay brought more than a waste of time, it brought an opportunity and the boy prodigy took the opportunity and got a dog. *THIS NEGOTIATION WAS HELD ON JUNE 18 2020, AND WAS PUT IN ACTION ON JUNE 19 2020.
