Joseph Precious Ross Mackatoni Elder Christensen! You are very much on my mind this morning. WE MISS AND LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND CHEER FOR YOU! I was so proud of you making cookies yesterday, finding creative ways to share God's love. I think that is the very best place to start. If people could possibly understand how much, how deeply, how with everything God loves them, then they seek to know His will as a response to being so resplendently, brilliantly, unspeakably loved! Missionary work is going to have to take some very creative turns right now, and you are up for it! It reminds me of the Joseph Millet story. Do you remember that story. Brother Hall was out of flour and he prayed for his starving family. He was told to go to Joseph Millet, that Joseph would give him some. Sweet story if it ended there, but Joseph Millet wrote "I was glad to know that the Lord knew there was someone named Joseph Millet". When you deliver cookies, you are helping people understand that the Lord knows them and remembers them through you, beautiful. I LOVE YOU! Happenings around here : Mook and Lids got home from their honeymoon last night! Oregon was gorgeous and they are happy! Spen came to breakfast Saturday morning everyone started sniggling, then giggling, then outright laughing. For 30 minutes he wouldn't confess that Lizzy died his eyebrows until we texted her and she told us. Beard dye! So funny! The yard is scrumptiously gorgeous, you can't believe how beautiful it is! I feel the Spirit SO STRONGLY when I think about having all of our neighbors over that we don't know yet. I feel like now we can! It's so fun! That's silly and stupid I know, I was just so embarassed of the big ugly tarps and everything.... Last night we planned out with Grandma Raspberry to make a family history garden! She found this sweet letter from Grandma Walker where she wrote about all of the people she loved and all of their favorite flowers, so we're going to plant a part for each of them! Annie went on a super fun date Friday night, ask her about it! I told the kids from 8-10 am they are mine; service, scriptures, memorizing poems, memorizing the new Proclamation, projects, lessons, drop-offs, writing, reading, learning, MTC! Mom's Training Center. We were supposed to start today.....Kids, 2 Mom zero. We're going to miss you at our Mom's Birthday Karaoke party this Friday. How can we top the pips from last year? Seth is in the backyard playing with the Mowers new puppy...so cute! We had a great Come Follow Me with Grandma Ras where we talked about Alma 5 and all of his poignant questions and Alma 7 and all of the beautiful things it reveals about the Atonement of the Savior. We talked about how he suffered infirmities, temptations of every kind, pains and sicknesses, and how this is the only place in all of scripture those particular things are revealed. We had a very very sad and a sweet sweet experience last Tuesday night. Ryan and Amanda Westenskow have been trying to have another baby. They did invitro fertilization, which is tons of money, and then she had a miscarriage. Annie was so sweet, she wrote them a huge letter and we took flowers to Orem that night. Amanda posted all about her sweet letter. Annie testified to me how strongly she felt the spirit doing that and how strongly she feels the spirit every time she thinks about reaching out to Alyssa, Emily, any of our cousins. We're going to try to be super better at that, but Tuesday was very special. Do the missionary clothing changes affect you? I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Love, Momzies!
