We are writing you this morning from Mexico! We miss you so much down here. We miss you terrible Spanish, we miss your awesome puns, we missed your hips and you’re very loose shoulders at the ward party dance. The sun is just rising over Los Olivia campground. We went out with the missionaries late last night to deliver gifts and it was so so fun. I can’t even see missionaries without crying because I have one and I love him with all of my soul.

McKay is trying to take your place in Mexico but his Spanish is even worse.
Last night Joseph was able to testify at one of the houses. He did it in Spanish and I don’t even know what he said but the spirit just flooded the room. I was so proud of him.
Eduardo is married with a new baby, all the cute little kids we danced with last time I’ve grown up a lot. This year we’re doing gifts for each branch member and a family that they chose to fellowship. Today we get to go out with the missionaries and deliver eight more bags of presents.
The missionaries are also going to come with us on the food drive and see if they can meet some new people to teach. I’m super excited about that I think we have $3000 this year.
I hope you have time to give Grandpa Raspberry a good Christmas letter. She is really suffering this first Christmas without Grandpa. I hate that we left her alone that is the only bad thing about all of this. We wrapped present for every day we were gone and wrote her letters, but I wonder if that wasn’t just to make us feel better about being here.
We left on Thursday morning, where in grandpa‘s truck, and we drove through terrible snow. Down here it is almost 80° and absolutely beautiful.
Monday to Wednesday we were just trying to get ready for the trip. My favorite part of those days was all the gifts coming in. People are so loving and so generous. The spirit of Christ is the most beautiful thing in the world. I loved packing up all the jammy pants that grandma and the young women made for all these precious little Mexican children. It just makes me cry!! 36 pair!
Grandpa Ruel had a rough week. He had surgery and had a pacemaker put in that shocked his heart when his heart decides to stop. He’s actually feeling much better with that in now.
Christmas day is the only day we have off for this week. We made taco jammies for all the kids and I think we’re going to play at the beach in our taco jammies. Sweet Grandma Jello helped me with a scavenger hunt of scriptures of Jesus so I hope we could do that too. What are you doing for Christmas buddy? What is it like? We want to hear everything
Do you think Elder Faimu wants a hammock? How is yours working?
The sun is just shining over the trees and into the camp. We are in a growth of all of trees. How wonderful to be with all of trees during Christmas and think about the saviors incredible sacrifice. His love and heavenly father‘s love in the Holy Ghost love and devotion are everything. Life is so good even when it’s hard. There is such a deep deep joy when we know the truth of everything. Thank you so much sweet boy for sharing that exquisite joy of heavenly father of the Savior is perfect and infinite love this Christmas. There’s no more beautiful message, no more beautiful work, nothing more precious than the baby in the manger and everything you did for us.
Please know there is an a second that goes by that we don’t think of you. We miss you with all of our hearts and even though we’re on the other side of the world from each other this Christmas, our hearts are with you.
