ELDA!!!! Hey scrumptious amazing wonderful Elder Blue Santa!

How is every single tiny thing? What are your days like? How are you doing and feeling? How is the sleep, wake up schedule jet lag thing going :) (that thing where you start getting up at 6:30 and going to bed at 10:30) ☺😊🎷. How is your heart? How are your feelings? How's the food? Have you been able to play basketball? What have you done for gym time? Have you been out in this beautiful sunshine at all? Have you been able to go to the temple? How was it? What else have you learned about your companion? Those in your district? How was your first teaching experience? What is the Sabbath like? WE WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING!

Absolutely loved your letter last week. LOVED IT! Thank you so so much for your detail, optimism, darling sense of humor, YAAHOOOO!! You rock!

Things are weird here. It is weird without you. We've had a sad, quiet, weird week. I don't know whether or not it is good to tell you how sad we are and how much we love you, but it's the truth.

As Seth said, we tried to skate away our sorrows, didn't work, tried to swim away our sorrows, didn't work.

Sunday we went up to the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, remember the place with the ski lift and the little lodge we could just walk in? There was a little snow at the very top and the mountain smell was absolutely exquisite.

We've been reading "Where the Red Fern Grows". Some books wake up the deep feelings in the soul and this book is one of them. We read 80 pages on Sunday.

Annie and Joseph both had orchestra concerts and ROCKED THEM! Sure made this mama miss you to see the jazz band up there jamming! Annie also had a piano recital, same night.

I LOVE HANDICAP SEMINARY SO MUCH! I am now going twice a week, and it is THE CELESTIAL KINGDOM! I feel like Heavenly Father has given me this tender mercy, I will have my bucket so filled every Tuesday and Thursday. Sweet Little Noah, a down syndrome boy ask me if I love him over and over with his forehead on mine. 2nd hour I take care of Lukas. My companion in that class is bigger than your companion! Lukas is probably 6 feet tall and 350 pounds. He says syllables that don't make sense and is so so sweet and happy. Last hour I sit by Garrett who has the tiniest little body and smiles ALL THE TIME. He can't talk, but he teases like crazy. We asked him to smile for a picture for the lesson and he just made a funny face and wouldn't smile. They are so happy. I leave there with absolutely no problems in the world. I am the student and they are the teachers. I am so grateful for that job!

I also taught at West Middle and Sunset Ridge Middle this week. I had some very sweet experiences. Someone needed to know they were a very valiant and beloved child of God in the pre-existence and still are here, and I hadn't planned to teach it but I was directed to. One sweet boy raised his hand and said "So, you have to have the Book of Mormon and go to the temple to be in the Celestial Kingdom, but what about the people who never hear about it, what happens to them?

It was so SWEET to be able to teach him of God's love and PERFECT JUSTICE, and that everyone will have a fair chance. We were in Moses 1 and D and C 138 and there was such a sweet spirit. IT IS SO CHALLENGING AND PUSHES AND STRETCHES MY SOUL SO MUCH, but I feel like it is the most important thing I can do with those hours in the day, and the most meaningful way I can help feed and care for my children at this time. I hope to continue to improve and improve in my teaching, but I love the topics and I love the kids and I love Jesus. When I come home I want my binky and my blanket!

We love you more than words can say. Annie just walked in from Easton's, they carved pumpkins. She went home from school with him today.

I love Heavenly Father and Jesus so much. I am so touched by their infinite love for us. I love Moses 1 when Moses finds out who he really is. I think that is one of the greatest gifts anyone can learn, Who we are and whose we are, and how much Heavenly Father loves us. What a joy that this is the message you get to share!

You are so so precious to me Spunny! Love you and miss you like crazy.

These are just for fun.....
