Happy Easter my love!  In true Christensen tradition, started by Mckay, the Easter baskets held weights, little flutes from Brazil, your bronze Eagle Scout statue, a bike horn, and a host of other interesting things. I love you! You have made my life SO SO SO SO FUN!

How was your week? We are so anxious for all your news! New area! New companion! I am just remembering when I was the mom of the trainee and how I prayed and prayed that you would have a great companion to introduce you to the field.  What a beautiful cycle! Now you can try to pay back how blessed you've been by pouring love, light, witness, faith and joy into this new missionary. I'm so happy for you and for him. Please tell us all!

We were so blessed this week.  Florida was pure joy. We held gaters, rented a boat and rode up and down the Florida coastal (a street made out of water), went to the gorgeous Florida beach, swam in their backyard, attended their ward, played epic Mother May I for 3 hours, stayed up late every night talking, played with babies, served at a food pantry and gave a homeless man food to celebrate Atonement day on Thursday, recognized every day of the last week of the Savior's life and had a passover dinner, and bonded for life.  It was such a sweet gift from the Flandersons to us. Seth was so cute taking off on the airplane. He sprained his ankle pretty badly the first day there and was so patient with it all.  IT WAS AWESOME!

It was only after an entire day of boating that Big Spencer revealed to us that he had never driven a boat before.

We came home Friday.  I was so proud of the kids. We weeded Linda Turner's front yard yesterday. They just jumped in the car and did it.

We loved reading D and C 138 yesterday.  There were so many exquisite phrases about the Savior's role, mission, triumph, love and grace.

Last night we had a campfire for Brigham's 14th birthday. We were out for two and a half hours playing soccer in the sunshine and roasting, toasting and laughing.

Joseph did really well on his talk about the Restoration today. The Spirit was there.

On this beautiful Easter I just want you to know Mckay Scott that I am so indebted to my Heavenly Father for the gift of His perfect Son.  I never planned to need Him so much, but he gladly did for us what we could never do for ourselves.  I love and adore Him. I weep in gratitude at his beautiful torn feet.  I'm so grateful He was willing to wear his crown of thorns before he wore his crown of glory.  He is my Savior and King. I love Him. I love you with ALL OF MY HEART! Happy Easter my son! He is risen!

Love, Mom
