Today during church, in my mind, I was sitting on the purple couches with you and you were singing "I've got a lisp, Darlin' I'm tired and I should be leavin" and then you sang Radioactive.  It was a very spiritual sacrament meeting for me.  It really was.

We love you jumping in to Elder Hongvilia's arms and then you both crashing on the ground.

I've got a problem.  Here it is. I have so many millions and millions of blessings, but one of my favorite of all time is the blessing of being able to be your Mom. DAILY I think about how I could ever show my gratitude to Heavenly Father for just that one blessing alone. I would never ever ever be able to get ahead of that one, because if I were perfect every second it still wouldn't come close to the depth of gratitude I feel.

'We loved last weeks letter, with all the lessons learned in a year. That was  very precious and meaningful. Thank you for sharing.  We love the scripture cigs.

Life is so good. We just finished our practice Malaysian meal for the wedding dinner with the Rasmussens who are going to cater it for us.  The backyard pond is full and there is a beautiful sunset. Life is so scrumptious, except, we miss you down to the gizzards.

Funs of the week:
A new girl came over that Seth had never seen before. Seth dressed in a suit and asked her to dance.  She cried.  He was absolutely darling.
Monday we had our last family night just with Coy. We went to the Flight Park and ate pizza and redneck ice cream, played, took sunset pictures, looked at other people's dogs and did gymnastics.  It is weird to be facing this next experience, weird and wonderful and so emotional for me.  I can't imagine how you are feeling on the other side of the world.  How are you feeling?

It has been fun to have Joseph be the alpha male. With Spen working full time, Joseph has risen up to be the man of the house. I can't tell you how much he has grown up. Oh, by the way, he is an awesome driver.

We had a magic family moment this week making a video for Haven's wedding shower. Coy had to answer questions, and then Haven guessed his answer and then they played the video to see if she was right. Our family.  Crazy stuff. Seth brought in props, so Captain America was on Coy's lap, then one of the ornery old guys from the muppets on this shoulder, then he had a cAt in the Hat hat on, then Coy had punching gloves on.  Spen was hilarious with his oohs and aahs.  It is funny.
Precious gRandma Jan came down and painted pallets for the wedding. She is so precious.

Annie went fast on a horse at Aunt Relle's house.
Seth got to go to the fire station with Scouts, he was so excited.
We hiked up and walked across a new sky bridge that is over Pepperwood Falls! It is so stinking awesome!

We had a NAP concert, and marched in the Riverton Parade.

Spen, Joseph and Annie went to the temple together on Wednesday night. I love those kids.

Spen wants to kiss a girl.  He doesn't know which one yet, just a well chosen girl. Kissing. He's talking a lot about it these days.

We had a rockin awesome Bachelor party for Coy and Colby Friday night. it was AWESOME!  Pie Pizza, Arby's, chips, Magic, super fun trivia games, muscle pictures, it was so fun.  It's so fun that three of those boys are getting married in July, Colby, Jarod and Coy.   Colby and Coy and WIVES are meeting up to go to Disneyland as they are both honeymooning in California.

We have a new renter, she is AWESOME!  We call her LOL Bonnie. LOL stands for little old lady, but she is not old, but she is little. She is great.

We had a sweet experience attending the temple with Coy and Haven and Haven's mother on Friday. It was a wonderful session.  THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!  By this time next week it will all be said and done!  We are doing a little newsletter about Coy and Haven that people can read in line.  It's going to be a fun wedding reception. There will be a lot of dancing. YEA!!

I miss you. I'm so proud of you and the way you treat Elder Hongvilia.  My heart soars at every word of your letter. Your gratitude, enthusiasm, light, joy of Atoning grace and love of the Lord shine so bright it is blinding, even on the other side of the world.  Thank you thank you for being who you are, being such an awesome, bright, manly, joyous, testimony filled and loving version of yourself, and for lighting up all of our lives.

I wish you nobakes, llama pajamas, people who will listen to your message of joy, a surge of absolute joy as you ride your bike down the street in Taiwan. I wish and hope you can feel the Spirit of your service al the time.

I love you Mckay Scott Christensen. It is one of the hardest things I have EVER done to be away from you for two years, but I am so grateful for your example to me and everyone. You light up my world. I'm so thankful that you have given your life to the Lord to do with it what He will.  Bless you my son.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I love you my real live rescue hero.

Love, Mom
