Hi scrumptious delicious amazing beautiful baby of my life!

So much to share!

  • We spent hours and hours with Courtney Harris the night after she received her endowments. We had so much fun looking up things about her mission and just talking about everything. She said she is going to come over a lot before she goes.
  • I was able to speak in Sacrament meeting today about YOU!!!!  the speakers canceleed so they asked some of the missionary moms to speak! Robyn, Jayna and I each got a few minutes. I had everyone 18 and under stand up and said that you and I wanted to testify specifically to them. I quoted Men and Women who Turn their Lives over to God and then shared some parts of your letters, and some of the stories. I shared the letter about the Guo Baba family's baptism. I shared the story of Tang and the coma, and Sandy being early to her baptism. Then I said that both you and I wanted to testify that if we turn our lives over to God He has so much more in store for us than we can ever do on our own. I said "he can make a prophet out of a plough boy, a missionary out of a Mckay, and help all of us to fulfill our divine potential.
  • It has been such a glorious day. Coy and I attended the homecoming of the Sliders. They were a senior couple missionary in Kuching.  I could have kissed their feet.  Przybyla's were there as well, and many missionary friends. It was so awesome.  It was an incredible homecoming. Their mission stories were incredible, and their testimonies were just so powerful. Many tears.
  • Coy has a class about the history of the  International Church. They've traveled in their studies all over the world and learned about how the church was introduced there and may of the conversion stories. i LOVE LOVE LOVE when he shares them with us.  For that class he will write a 12 page paper about a specific area of the world.  Of course, he chose Malaysia. There were very few articles in the church library, so he asked the Sliders to gather some stories.  They JUST GOT HOME and handed him these precious handwritten pages of personal histories. He picked up the first one and read the words of a humble Chinese man who was a tour guide in the rainforest, and took a couple named Dan and Colleen Allen on a tour.  It rained like crazy, so all they could do was talk to each other.  In no time he was reading a copy of the Book of Mormon. The story is written in his halting English. It is so precious. AAAHHHH!!!! I love life!
  • We're sewing up a flurry for Brigadoon that opens this week. Grandma Jan is sewing her fingers to death until she can't get them to unbend. Sethy has a little kilt. It's pretty awesome. Coy is doing great in the play. He is the angry guy. It runs this weekend.
  • Angie and Evan are MOVING! He accepted a new job and they are moving to the Orem Provo area.  New opportunity for a lot of run reasons. We helped them get their house ready to sell this week.
  • The weather is Glorious! The kids are running amuck, jumping on the tramp. There is happiness everywhere. Seth and Macy were racing up and down the street on rollerblades. Did we get all of our homeschool done this week?  NOPE!!  Unless you count nature lessons, which I think are better anyway. We hiked to Ghost Falls with our homeschool group.
  • It's so fun that Joseph is on the soccer team. Watched a game this week. His hair is great, no matter what else happens, and that is important.
  • Coy competed in the Cha Cha in Dancesport at BYU and was called back three times!  It was so fun. He is loving dancing with Haven.  He's a nerd, but he's got hips!
  • Jeni interviewed for a job in Washington DC, and Nate and Nic are in Australia for a couple of weeks.
  • Dallin Anderson's date won prom queen.
  • We voted for the plan of suffering, isn't that awesome? Suffering and learning.
  • WE LOVE YOU!The book is blue, the church is true, and i love you. How can we help you more?A few more add ons,
    • We've been getting along well as a family. Annie's gymnastics mat is out almost all the time, we have both long couches against the long wall side by side, and one long on the other, so it's a long skinny room. Did I tell you we got a new piano? The one Grandma Raspberry learned on as a child?  It's in the family room. Sent you a pic. We do a lot of wrestling. One night we all just wrestled and laid on each other and laughed and laughed and laughed so hard for so long, just laughed to laugh.
    • We had a miracle yesterday! Aleena Pedersen gave me 4 tickets to the Lamb of God performance by Rob Gardner. He is the one who wrote "My Kindness Shall Not Depart From Thee".  The Lamb of God is his Easter cantata.  The miracle is that Joseph, Jake and AVERY attended! Sweet Aunt Jeni took them. It was a miracle. The boys were touched. Avery talked about how awesome it was. They all love music, but beyond that, I think they were touched by the music.  YEA!! Joseph asked Avery to go to church. He and Jake said they would buy him a new Wii mote thing he wants if he would go two weeks in a row. Hey, I'm not fighting their unique missionary style!
    • The boys had a cookout last night in your FORT!  They built a fire out there and did hot dogs. Scary?
    • WE have to know, did you eat the duck head? You are so stinking cute, riding your bike in the rain. We are praying for your pigeons to not be misplaced!
