Hi darling precious boy!
We love love love you! I can't believe what a big hole you leave behind! How is everything. I can't thank you enough for your deliciously detailed letters. You are such a blessing.
I love you so much. We've had a fun week. I’m so excited to hear about your week! I have had a week of trying to triumph in meekness. I love the Savior so very much, his unspeakable love and unending mercy. I reread President Benson’s talk on pride. That is a landmark address. It is one of the best on relationships ever.
We went to a monster truck rally for town days. A few days before it Wally had dropped an anchor on his foot and broke it in three places. He'd developed two hematomas, huge pockets of blood. During the rally they popped so his foot was broken in three places and the shoe was filled with blood, but he was AWESOME. It was really fun to watch.
We told the story of Les Mis at the flight park for family night, the flight park on the other side. We helped John Dansie move. They lost their house and he is moving into his wife's ex-husband's parent's basement. Some people just struggle so much. We are enjoying tomatoes from our garden. They are DELICIOUS!
Did I tell you that Hollis, Natalie, Kirsten, and a bunch of other kids came to Rufus's farewell? He was SO FUNNY! He said, "I love my Mom. She did a great job writing this talk". We also attended Randy Robert's homecoming get together. Hollis and Chandler got up and sang Called To Serve with the young men in our ward. They are such dorks.
We are desparately trying to make flight plans work....
Elder Coy,
Hi my precious darling beloved absolutely fantastic incredible son! I think of NOTHING BUT YOU! How are you doing? How is your heart with just 9 days to go? I can’t imagine how you are feeling now.
You haven’t said much about your companion. How are things? How is he doing? How long has he been out? What is his family like?
I spoke to Kayleigh Ann Leavitt today, Sister Leavitt. She said she misses Malaysia so much. Do you remember her? She said she was in your zone for 2 months.
How is your heart? How are you doing? How are you feeling?
I just can’t wait to wrap my arms around you, you scrumptious missionary of mine. I’m sorry, this is probably not what you want to talk about.
How was the work this week? How is my boy?
Whom would you like invited to your homecoming? Give me a list and I’ll keep working on them. Is this an accurate list of your companions?

Call
I don’t know what to say. There are a hundred things to say about you coming home, but it just doesn’t seem right. Everything there will work out so beautifully and all will be well. I will just ask this, are there any particular requests/dreams/concerns/ hopes/imaginations/anythings on your end?
I’m so excited to hear about your week! I have had a week of trying to triumph in meekness. I love the Savior so very much, his unspeakable love and unending mercy. I reread President Benson’s talk on pride. That is a landmark address. We went to a monster truck rally, told the story of Les Mis at the flight park, helped people move, weeded the garden, and just kept going on!
We saw the movie Freetown about missionaries, It has a wonderful message but it’s a hard one to watch.
What is best to say now? I'm not sure. Please know that we are anxiously preparing for the return of our valiant missionary. You don't need to worry about anything but leaving your last full measure in Malaysia and walking away with a heart full of love for those people, and laying down your last hour of consecrated sacrifice. I am just so proud of you you darling boy.
