I think I have checked the TAIWAN TAICHUNG MISSION BLOG A MCJILLION BAJILLION KAPILLION TIMES LOOKING FOR PICTURES OF YOU! We got five and it was just HEAVEN! There's a picture of you sticking a long doughnut in your face, leaning FORWARD ( I love that by the way. Remember what Uncle Spencer said about never letting your back touch the back of a couch at a member's house?) in class, with the mission banner, with some other (You'll never see this coming) Missionaries and such. You are very handsome and you look very much like the Mookie that left us just nearly ten weeks ago. THE ONE WE MISS WITH ALL OF OUR BRAINS AND HEARTS!
- COY IS HOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEE!!!! Coy Jeffrey Christensen is HOOOOMMMMEEEE! It is amazing.
- He's different and the same both, more gentle and soft spoken, so strong and peaceful, happy and loving, so so wonderful and scrumptious. We are doing a great job of making sure he isn't lonely.
- He walked off the airplane at about 4:08 as you had just seen him, a light scruff of facial hair and a very fancy vest! It was SO FUN! My heart was just pounding, one of the best feelings EVER to see that boy of mine again!
- We went straight to his release which was awesome including a letter from the mission president and a testimony from Coy. Home to golden eggs, lots of visits and GIRLS COMING OVER TO SEE HIM. He was way tired that night. The next day he went jogging with Drew and then Brian and Jake kidnapped him for the afternoon. That night we played at the park. Thursday LDSBC and out to lunch, more unpacking and picking tomatoes and a family soccer game with G and G Jello and Jenny and Tanner in the backyard and a new phone. Friday, he and I went to the temple together and off to Brian's. Saturday we went to set off rockets at the Buddy Walk for down syndrome, then I took the cubs to cub scout day camp and we had the Rees family reunion, then a trip to Ocean Mart for ingredients for the homecoming dinner and lots of prep.
- TODAY! He was super awesome. We are trying to download his talk. I don't know if you can listen or download it anywhere.
- It is so fun to connect. We've wrestled, tried to give him an elephant ride, Annie painted his toenails, he and Drew went jogging, he and I went to the temple, 5 of us went to check out his schooling because we can't leave him alone, he has a new phone, (the coolest in the family by far, it was pretty hard to top yours with all of it's special features and by features I mean problems, but he has done it ),
Spiritual Highlights of the Week
- TALKING TO YOU!
- THE TWO MISSIONARIES GETTING TO SEE EACH OTHER (one of the sweetest tender mercies of my entire life). I absolutely know that our Heavenly Father intervened in our behalf on this one.
- WRAPPING OUR ARMS AROUND COY!
- YOUR PICTURES ON THE BLOG, KNOWING YOU'VE ARRIVED SAFELY
- SPENCER PREPARING A SHARING TIME TODAY AND BEING SO DANG CUTE TEACHING PRIMARY
- COY BEING ABLE TO TAKE HIS PRAYER NIGHT AGAIN ON TUESDAY NIGHT
- JOHN AND DEB AND Z ALL CAME TO CHURCH TO SEE COY.
- WHY AM I YELLING AT YOU?
Funnies:
- Seth got an infection of the salivary gland and one side of his face puffed up. We took him into the doctor and he's on an antibiotic and as she was leaving the appointment she said, "See you later!" He said "When?" He wanted a time and place. She was trying to tell him it was a figure of speech. He looks so cute with a puffy face.
- Spen asked someone to homecoming with a door, yellow balloons and a thousand door puns.
- We made three Malaysian dishes for the homecoming today, one was eggs with basil and sugar. None of the three had I ever made before, andI tried them for the first time while trying to feed 100 people. That should go in the stupid category, not the funny.
It has been a both glorious and heart wrenching week. I really can't wait to see your letter my darling precious Son. What do you need? How can I help you? What helps the best.? OOOHHHHH I LOVE YOU SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH! !
