Mookie Jewkie won the school geography bee! It was intense, and now he has to take a written test to see if he can go on to state. The material they cover is so vast it is literally impossible to be prepared. They cover physical (mountains oceans rivers deltas plateaus) geography as well as political (all man-made boundaries) as well as anything from magma to lithosphere, as well as the history of all annexes, purchases, acquisitions, changes from any time throughout all of history. Also included is every detail of every worldwide culture (language, religious preferences, poverty level, major food supplies), any question on any national park or monument or history thereof, or even major landmarks through the world. One poor kid got a question about where the rosegrower association meets. It is so crazy, so, this may be our only post about the geography bee :). We are having fun cramming, and learning how stinky we really are at geography. Love and tuna!
