Good Morning Sweet Daughter Angell of my life, How I am YEARNING to hear everything. I want to tell you a sweet divine signature story this morning. Vilate and Joseph came over on Sunday and shared this: Vilate had befriended a Mom in one of her Facebook groups who's husband was going to Uganda. This Mom was hoping to ask someone some questions about Uganda and Vilate was happy to answer them. The family was living in England at the time, and Vilate was living in Uganda. The husband did come to Uganda for the business conference and they had him over to share dinner and became friends. Fast forward a year or two and Vilate is in WALMART in Tooele, Utah and a woman says her name. It is this exact same Mom. They had never met in person, she only recognized Vilate because she was holding her 7th baby and wearing an African print dress. This family had moved from England to Tooele, Utah! It gets more amazing. The Father-In-Law of the Mom had just been called as the area authority 70, the general authority OVER UGANDA. Because of the connection the new general authority invited Vilate and Joseph to the church office building and sat with them for an hour. He began with "Tell me what I need to know". Vilate and Joseph were able to express all of their feelings and concerns about the church in Africa, and share things that had happened. Annie, our God eats the impossible for lunch. I know He will bless you in ways we don't even understand. I am putting all of my faith in his ability to bless and care for you, and I know there is no better place to put my faith and trust. How are you sweet girl? How are you feeling about Rissa's mission call? We are taking turns fasting for you. Lydia told me about her email to you. I love her empowering approach. How are you going to tell this story to your daughter? Nothing seems significant enough to share this morning on our end, when we compare our lives to yours all seems trite and mundane, but I will any as I anticipate any news may be a source of comfort or at least a momentary distraction: I met the new family across the street yesterday, Christy and David's house. They are awesome. Blended family with 5 or 6 kids ages 8-15. There will be a lot of life over there. He is a general contractor, that's exciting. They are going to completely renovate the house and make it a "modern farmhouse". Pedersons moved. They sold their home to Croshaw's very best friends. Apparently the man moving in is the only person Tyler would allow in when he was having some real trouble. They are like the Hunts and the Christensens. This family is moving from a REALLY big house in Draper and apparently the Pedersons two million dollar home is a downgrade and they will be remodeling as well. Crazy times. We will have three multi milion dollar homes across the street. I wonder how that news even sounds to you with what you are seeing. The poor of the world makes my tummies hurt. Yesterday as we were installing Jack asked me why and how I work so hard and the answer that just popped out of my soul was that I hope I'm able to get ahead enough to lift those behind me. I hope I can, and I hope that is my real reason. We were at Grandma Jan's the other night on a crazy night. It was your pday so after talking to you all day and all the feelings, I had Ella and Abby and Sethie and Addy Snyder of all things in the car and we went to get snow cones in Riverton at ten pm. We saw a missionary get hit by a car. The driver wasn't paying attention and hit him as he pulled up to the stop sign. I ran over and tried to help. It wasn't too severe, he got road rash and bruises. We had a funny sleepover. Abby and Ella and Sethie. The missionary and I have been in touch. His sweet Mom door dashed the ingredients to his favorite meal. She must be feeling quite helpless, too. Anyway, we were at Grandma Jan's that night and we were going to sleep over there. Grandma sits on her porch until about midnight. She went to the door to go out and said "Oh, there's a skunk!" and then proceeded to go right out the door. So funny. Lydia had an interesting experience at Girls Camp. She said there were not a lot of devotionals and spiritual talks happening and she was feeling like "why am I here" and then when testimony meeting came around she realized that more was being taught and experienced than she had recognized and that God was in the details, and that sometimes just loving them is exactly what He wants us to do. We've chewed through all of our NPS gum rectangles but the last few. We had an awesome install yesterday, 12 kids did 15 yards in 90 minutes. They were AMAZING. They hauled the product up a mountain. Sethie made a peanut butter and honey with 4 pieces of bread then installed 18 yards, 3 of rock then the big job. He's awesome. He's trying to go to the temple every day this week. I think there have been two days when he went twice. Yesterday after the temple Louisa stayed and hung out for quite a while. They did the dishes together. She was so cute with Ailee, Lyla and Griffin on the tramp. He was playing duck duck goose and saying duck. He is such a yummy. Today is Grandpa Jello's birthday.
