Good morning sweet boy! How is everything? I’m always so excited when it’s Monday it feels like Christmas to be able to connect with you. We are having a fun Covid week over here. We’re feeling pretty awful about the fact that we all came home from Mexico with Covid and didn’t know it and in that time invited everyone over to our house. The tests have slowly come back and gratefully Grandma Jan is negative Jeni is negative although Scott Marchant is positive Nate Nic and all the kids are all negative and so it looks like we’ve infected Scott Marchant which might end up infecting that whole household chances are pretty good so that makes us feel pretty terrible. It was such a crazy weekend last weekend because Spencer is been in the car accident, we came home to the cat having been bit by another animal and bleeding everywhere and there was so much going on that I guess we didn’t really pay attention to the fact that a few of us had sniffles and now that we look back we should’ve been more careful about that but we had everybody over last Monday for Annie‘s birthday and risked grandma Jan and the babies and so it’s been a very scary and guilt ridden journey. We’re coming out of it all we all have Covid we’ve lost our taste and smell everybody’s coughing and feeling pretty tired and crappy but not terrible, nothing more really then just a cold and not feeling great. Anyway I have tried to just keep thinking that with totaling two cars within eight days we are so blessed to all still be alive, and we will make it through Covid and we’re just praying that nobody gets too sick. Apparently we have a really contagious strain. Abby HUNT slept over on Annie‘s birthday and she got covered in mediately dad‘s pretty sure it wasn’t from us but I’m pretty sure it was. She and Annie slept in the castle and she slept next to Annie all night and then tested positive. It’s a big fat mess but everybody got it together. Mookie and Lydia have it the Slichta‘s have it coy and Becca have it,We all have it except for dad text deaths tested negative We all have it except for dad tested negative. Gratefully Grandma Raspberry didn’t come over. Seth even went to school on Monday and we even went to church on Sunday and south pass the sacrament gratefully he had gloves and a mask on but good grief who knows. McKay and Lydia had a party and infected Dallas Hollis and Kirsten. Anyway fun times. Honestly it’s kind of great to have it and then get over it and be done with a it. We also got the cat sewn up. The other thing we’re going through is Spencer and Lizzie are taking a break trying to figure things out. He got a blessing from dad this morning and fasted yesterday, just trying to sort out all the questions that come with the relationship. He’ll tell you more about it. Seth is doing super awesome on his seven day book of Mormon challenge. He’s listening to it and I’m super proud of him he’s just doing awesome. That’s where he’s turning with his questions and we know what happens when you turn to God with questions. It’s beautiful. Annie was pretty discouraged when she found out she was positive but her dance teacher is working with her and if she practices at home she won’t miss any of her competitions. If she had gotten covered over a competition she wouldn’t be able to go so at least that is a blessing. It’s my first day of school and my last semester Lydia and I will both graduate in April. Coy officially two as well I guess because he has one more online class but he’s already living like he graduated with a full-time big boy job. It has been really fun to go to college with everybody else in our family going to college we have so many college students. Coy Becca Mooky Lydia Spencer me and Annie are taking college classes! Super fun. Everybody came over on Saturday since everybody has Covid anyway and Slichta came over and we watched camp rock and made ugly sweater cookies and that afternoon the family sang together for like three hours. It was a dream come true for me. We got Les Mis music and some other musicals and we were playing the banjo and the mandolin and the guitar and it was so so stinking fun. I want to get a bus and have a family band. We had a great come follow me last night everybody came over again and it was so fun. Isn’t it wonderful that we can receive revelation? Isn’t it wonderful that God is mindful of us. Not only is he mindful of us but we are his everything and that is just astounding what a glorious amazing situation! We are the cutest sweetest story in the whole world. Annie was doing homework for her family science class and she had to collect the most romantic moment from several people. She asked Grandma Raspberry and she talked about junior prom and how Roger only had the first dance with her on her dance card. She said after the last song they saw each other across the damn floor ran to each other and the band saw them in the middle of the dance floor and started to play beyond the sea which was the theme of the junior prom and they danced cheek to cheek in the middle of the floor with everyone watching all alone. She said thatWas one of the most romantic moments of her life. We sing it for her during her a big singing fest and sent her a video. Isn’t that the cutest story ever? Grandma Jan talked about her first day with grandpa and how they stayed up the entire night and watched the sunrise while they named their 12 children and then he jumped in bed just in time for his mom to come and and wake him up.
