Happy birthday eve! How are you my sweet wonderful amazing boy! We love you so much and I think of you always and pray for you and cheer for you and we’re so grateful for your amazing example and your light. We miss you all the time.
Sounds like BYU app is all taken care of?
How was your week? What are your plans tomorrow? How is the zone?
Welcome to election day. I really have no idea what is going to happen and that I am praying with all of my heart for our country. If the Republicans don’t win I don’t know if I’ll ever get our country back. And by country I mean freedoms.
Did you get my letter about Bekah father? It is been such an interesting week. That happened on Wednesday night so completely unexpectedly, he is only 60 years old. They are actually having the funeral on Wednesday and why it would’ve been his 61st birthday. It has been very interesting and amazing and sad and wonderful and weird. We went down on Thursday because Bekah
Invited us to come down and bring them some food. They were at her mothers house. So he collapsed on the floor and the paramedics were working on him and while they still didn’t know if he would live or die, Becca’s brother called her And said we need you. Coy and Becca ran over and they basically haven’t left the house since. Whatever all of that was is completely over and she is reunited with her family. It’s weird to feel happy and so sad for everything at the same time. Something I’ve been incredibly impressed with is that Coy said there’s nothing but kind words spoken of him. Nobody has talked about the difficulties at all and they speak about him with reverence and respect. Anyway she is completely reunited with her beautiful family, three of them were here in our home last night for Coy’s birthday party, and I think we are going to have a lot to do with them. They are beautiful people. They stayed while we all said what we loved about Coy and gave him gifts, and I was really glad because they don’t really know him and I want them to. They actually got up and talked about what a strength and a light he has been the last few days.
Other than that interesting development, and them planning a funeral that only 10 people can go to, we have been busy doing applesauce, building houses, celebrating Halloween, and preparing for Annie‘s dance competition that was on Saturday. They had a big service project at the houses on Saturday and a lot of the ward members came and we got so so so much down it was so fun and so amazing and the weather was spectacular.
Seth dressed up in a full Santa Claus suit, and went up on the roof and threw candy at people. It was so funny. We went over to Grandma Raspberry‘s and trick-or-treat at her with pizza and then we turned all the lights off and asked her to tell us a scary story. She told us the scariest one I’ve ever heard. She said there was an insane person in her communityAnd she murdered someone and cut them up in pieces and put their body in a suitcase and then got on the train and blood was dripping out the suitcase and so they caught her. When she would go to bed and have to go down the dark stairs her dad would say don’t let “Winnie Judd” get you!
She also sang us part of this song in the dark ... SO FUNNY!
Don't ever laugh as a Hearse goes by
For you may be the next to die
They wrap you up in a big white sheet
From your head down to your feet
They put you in a big black box
And cover you up with dirt and rocks
And all goes well for about a week
And then your coffin begins to leak
And the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out
The worms play pinochle on your snout
They eat your eyes, they eat your noes
They eat the jelly between your toes
A big green worm with rolling eyes
Crawls in your stomach and out your eyes
Your stomach turns a slimy green
And puss comes out like whipping cream
You spread it on a slice of bread
And that's what you eat when your dead
And the worms crawl out and the worms crawl in
The worms that crawl in are lean and thin
The ones that crawl out are fat and stout
Your eyes fall in and your hair falls out
Your brain comes tumbling down your snout
And the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out
They crawl all over your dirty snout
Your chest caves in and your eyes pop out
And your brain turns to sauerkraut
They invite their friends, and their friends too
They all come down to chew on you
And this is what it is to die
I hope you had a nice goodbye
Did you ever think as a Hearse goes by
That you may be the next to die
And your eyes fall out and your teeth decay
And that is the end of a perfect... day
And she also talked about the groups that lick their fingers and little orphan Annie who wouldn’t say her prayers and was taken away by demons. It was so much fun. Then we went to hunts and carve pumpkins and watched an old classic. Sunday we had a huge Mongas party and we had a Lincoln Douglas debate between Mookie and Coy over whether an oppressive government is better than no government at all, and then Spencer and Seth debated about whether or not shirts should be worn. It was so funny. Because Seth doesn’t wear a shirt 90% of the time, so they wereQuoting scripture about Adam and eve and being naked and whether clothes are necessary or a good or evil. It was awesome.
