September 28, 2020

Good Morning my precious wonderful boy!! How is everything? We love you so much!! Is the weather cooling at all there? We are getting mountains full of fall colors and a little nip in the air at night, but it didn't stop Spenny Lizzy Coy Bekah and Mook and Lids from going camping last Friday night. Guess what! Spenny has a parasite! He either brought it home from his mission or got it at Lake Powell. He has lost a total of 12 pounds. Doctors last week, then Tuesday we found out he has giardia. He's on a super strong medicine and it is messing with his brain. He has lost some "caring". He ran two red lights and didn't care about the consequences and has quite a bit of brain fog. Mckay and Dad gave him a blessing Saturday night and he was told to continue with the medicine, that it all would work and he would be okay in the end, but it's scary and he is super skinny. How is your tummy? Do you have any problemos? You need to include EVERYTHING on your byu application, Gold Summer of Service award from the Utah Food Bank, two Humanitarian trips to Mexico, Eagle project, Soccer awards, leadership in your scout troop, most popular Mr. SilverRush, being in Nate's FACULTY band, and you need to write all about Dad and how we had a family landscaping business to survive and how you helped support the family. Let's talk. Funny moment: Scott Taylor Georgia Anderson flew into town for Jace Watt's wedding and came to visit Grandma. We were finishing up 40 quarts of pear sauce and it was about 11 at night. We got a call from Annie who said her homecoming date wanted to put his arm around her then Scott said, "Grandma, I'm still trying to get up my courage to put my arm around a girl" and Grandma said, "What? You jes about swallered one whole on TV!" It was pretty great. Friday Lids and Bek came came up and we did 58 quarts of salsa and 12 of marainara and 12 of tomato juice! It's beautiful! I'll send you pics! We started church meetings on zoom! Yesterday I was in RS, Dad in EQ annie in YW and Seth in YM's all at the same time. It was awesome. I miss the STRENGTH! Seth is trying to memorize a scripture a day so if you have some good ones send them to him! So excited for general conference! We were talking last night about laying down a sacrifice of some kind, doing something awesome to prepare for general conference! I miss you. I love you. I've got too many homeworks, I think I'm going to switch my math class to audit. I'm drowning. Vilate and Joseph came over last night for dinner with their brand new scrumptious baby boy. Their kids are SO CUTE! Adelaide and Bebi came over too and Seth got mauled for 3 hours. It was awesome! I should have taken a picture of Seth last night. He was buried in kids so he put his football pads on to protect himself. It was pretty great. Total counts for the week: So this week we add one more boy to the list of boys to beat up when you get home, one more tummy and head to pray for, one less math class for Mom, 56 more quarts of salsa, and one missionary that we love SO MUCH AND PRAY FOR CONSTANTLY! Can't wait to talk to you!
