Precious darling amazing son, My Joseph Ross, my Mack, Ross the Boss, Bayee, Mackatoni, We love you and miss you so much. I think Annie may be in the lead for how much, how deep, how wide. She aches for you. Life is fun and cra cray! DECK IS FINISHED! Grandpa Jells came home from Europe (where they had miracle after miracle) and Spen and Grandpa and I worked through this week and Evan stayed home two days....WALA! FINEESHD! It is super super awesome and not perfect, just like everything and everyone else God loves. You may want to sit down for this one. Annie ASKED A BOY TO SWEETHEARTS AND HE IS FLYING HERE FROM ARIZONA AND SHE IS GOING TO GET IN A DRESS AND GO ON A DATE IN FEBRUARY. Oh ma stars, oh ma stars. I loved loved loved your letter. I love love love you. She is trying to hard still to catch up on all of the chemistry work. It is grueling agony. She is still buried pretty deep. Spenny is so so darling. He has a stack of pants from your closet and his, all with holes in the crotch. We were looking at them this morning to figure out which ones could be fixed and there's a pair or two in the garbage. He's a yum. He's a love. He's so excited to go to China in the morning. He suicide swiped on a hundred girls then deleted his mutual account. Workin' hard at Angie's, lots of YSA stuff, some dates, and just wonderful love everywhere around him. Seth is so yummy. I worry for him. His mom is a busy girl and I think he gets the worst of all of that. He's doing great, but a little low on friends right now and that kind of breaks my heart. Spends a lot of time home reading. He tells me every day after school how football went at recess, and how football went seems to be kind of how he's feeling about life that day. If I could fix it all I would, and that is the problem. I would fix it all the wrong way because I would take it all away. Coy and Rabekah spent Sunday with us. They are awesome and doing very well. Coy is getting so close to graduating! He is only 18 credits away from a Computer Science Degree from BYU! He can get a job for $100,000 a year! Isn't that crazy? We won the piano fight. He is still in and doing so so well. Saturday we -reroofed Grandma Jan's house. It was so fun. We had a big family crew up there and it was awesome to work together. The yearning in my soul for the Savior to cover for me where my greatest desires (to be a good wife and mother) meet my greatest inadequacies (not being the wife and mother I yearn to be), and this situation couples with the greatest love I have ever felt which is the love I feel for my children. This situational equation results in a Mama on her knees pleading with every bit of anything I have for the Savior to cover for me in the lives of those I love the most. The miracle of it all is that He is there, and He does lift, bless, heal and compensate. I have loved thinking about faith this week. What can the Lord DO with us if we will let him? He turned a stammering Moses into a prophet, The vilest of sinners into Alma the missionary, a humble barefoot plough boy into the prophet of the Restoration, your Father who couldn't read into a valiant missionary, business man and wonderful Father, your Grandpa Jello from a broken home to everything he is, your Grandpa Raspberry from Sanpete to Patriarch. This week I'm seeing every single story in the scriptures in this light... what can the Lord do with us if we will but turn our lives over to him. "Men and women who turn their lives over to God will discover that He can make a lot more out of their lives than they can. He can deepen their joys, expand their vision, quicken their minds, strengthen their muscles, lift their spirits, multiply their blessings, increase their opportunities, comfort their souls, and pour out peace. " Grandma Raspberry is PROBABLY MOVING. I wish she would come build by us. We could fill our gravel pit with a beautiful window filled home over a double garage. ARGH! I really wish she would do that. She must do what is best for her. So Mook and Dad are off to China in the morning! SO FUN! My greatest joy is when my family loves each other, loves Jesus and loves others. Thank you for doing all of those. Yesterday we watched the fighting preacher, Sunday we heard about Jello's trip, Saturday we roofed at G. Jan's, Friday everyone was at friends and stuff and Dad and I went out to eat with Ramon and Jen and it was heavenly. We talked a lot about Mexico, we're still trying to decide. Lots of school, work, homework and deck building the other days. We are drenched in the blessings of the Lord. I love this quote: "Every bush is a burning bush to God, but only he who sees it takes off his shoes". Alee came over! I didn't get to chat but she had such a beautiful happy face! WE LOVE YOU!!!
