Hey precious!  HOW ARE YOU?  We've sure missed you this week! We are so excited for your news.

I LOVED sharing your experience about the girl that squealed like a pig when she was baptized with my seminary students.

Stake conference today was very inspiring.  They talked a lot about our increased opportunities and responsibilities to share the gospel in our home, and joining the Batallion and stepping up to serve the Savior.

They told a story that I loved.  This sweet lady who worked full time and went to school and was a mother at the same time knelt down and asked who she could help. She FELT that she should get a bedjacket. She didn't even know what a bedjacket was, but went out looking for one. After going to several stores and people not only not having one but not even knowing what it was, she went to the fabric store. She knew she should buy pink fabric, but as she looked for a pattern she could not find one, and no one at the fabric store knew what a bedjacket was either. She got home and laid it out and she could SEE THE LINES WHERE SHE SHOULD CUT, AS IF A PATTERN WAS LAID OUT FOR HER.  She cut it, sewed it, and knelt down to see where it should go.  She felt like she should take it to her next-door neighbor, a recovered alcoholic who had taken the missioanry discussions many times, but coudn't seem to kick the smoking.  The woman's mother in law was staying at her home and had come there to die.   She was supposed to live a week, but had lived a month and was TERRIFIED to die because she thought if she did she would cease to exist.  Sister A sat in front of her and gave her a bedjacket, which as it ends up is a robe that just goes to the waist. She wept and said that was her favorite thing in her favorite color. Sister A testified to her that she would live on after this life and that there were people waiting for her on the other side.  She died THAT NIGHT, wearing a pink bedjacket, in the comfort of knowing she would continue. Beautiful story.

Fun week, birthdays for Coy and Joseph. We gave Joseph 20 pounds of chicken and a new mattress.  His girlfriend not girlfriend anymore's car broke down and we were behind them leaving his soccer game and so we stopped to help and it was actually super super fun. Mckay got in the back of the truck to let people know we were kind of in the road and he wore a blond wig, had a pink flamingo coming out of his shirt and had an ax that just happened to be in the back of the truck.   We had a super fun family basketball game with our kids and Smitty.  I got to teach apostasy and restoration this week, and we did 62 quarts of applesauce and apple juice in one day.

I'm so grateful for the Father's and the Savior's perfect love to us even though we are so imperfect.  I love you very very much.

Love, Momzies.
