ELDA ELDA ELDA!!! How are you scrumptious!
It is Christmas morning to me! I feel like it's Christmas when we get to hear from you! How was your week? How is everything? What have you learned about Jesus? His gospel? Fiji? Missionary work? Companions? District? Yourself? Life? Everything?

Did you get our package? Do the shoes work? Don't hesitate to let us know if not, we can exchange or whatever....

We may or may not have stopped in front of the MTC for quite a long time and stared in the windows trying to see, let's see, what was it, oh, YOU!!! We didn't think we were breaking any rules if we saw you and you didn't see us....but we couldn't quite find you for sure. It was 8:00 last night, and there were a couple of rooms with only short-sleeved white shirts. We did not get arrested for stalking the MTC or using our phones as binoculars :). WE MISS YOU!

We just finished breakfast in bed for Joseph who is 17 TODAY! He's getting a new phone because he elbowed his, remember? We reward behavior like that I guess. At first it shattered, then a block of nothingness came in one corner, and spread just like the Never Ending Story across the phone until only one tiny little window at the top is visible. His friends just came and decorated the porch, kidnapped him and took him out to breakfast!

Last night we sat in front of the MTC because we ran down to take Coy vanilla cake with vanilla frosting with vanilla ice cream! I can't believe he's 23. Do you remember the conversation with Haven by the front door where Haven said he needs hot pants like yours? Well, we got him some. Hot pants like Spencer. I guess you could have just thrown yours out the window when you go to Fiji!

It's been a crazy week. Noah, my down syndrome buddy walked into seminary dressed as Gaston! He had a huge curly wig, darkened eyebrows, hair drawn all over his chest, socks stuffed in his shirt for muscles, and big black boots. He kept saying "Gaston! Father, beast!" His Dad apparently was dressing up as the best. Being with these precious darling children of God fills my soul with so much love, light and Spirit. Tuesday and Thursday at "adapted seminary" I feel like I am the student and they are the teachers. I love it SOOO much.

I also taught two days at Kearns High School this week. THE KIDS ARE AWESOME! We had a lot of sweet students from the poly islands. They are so faithful, their hearts are so open. I could be there every day. We covered 2 Nephi 29-32 over the two days, Nephi's pleadings and fiery testimonies, his love letters to them right before he dies. I love Nephi's wrap up on 2 Nephi 31:20; Press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, Perfect brightness of hope, a love of God and of all men, feasting on the words of Christ, then eternal life! He adds, the words of Christ will TELL you all things you should do (information), then in chapter 32 the Holy Ghost will SHOW you all things, in other words, what to do about the information. We told so many Holy Ghost stories; Elder Nelson learning Chinese, Elder Zwick and the missionary who couldn't read, the Japanese mission president who felt to invite all of the missionaries to the Mission Leadership Conference and saved their lives from the Tsunami. It was SO FUN! I LOVE stories. Do you want a story book of lots of great stories on each of the principles you'll be teaching! I can work on that if you'd like!

I still have a lot to learn about teaching. I think I come off as some kind of mix between a Baptist preacher and a weirdo, but I'm not giving up. Heavenly Father works through the weak and the simple! D and C 1:19-23!

Sweet Jeremy Larsen caught me at church and asked if he could get your emails. He wrote down his address and I got it wrong somehow, so he emailed me to make sure I had it right.

Halloween on Tuesday was fun. Seth and I went out with Annette and all her kids and grandkids in Pepperwood. Annie and Joseph got free tickets to Frightmares on Monday night from Nate. I told Seth we could do whatever he wanted so he and I went bowling. Dad's health isn't super great right now, keep him in your prayers. He stayed home.

Mook came up last Saturday and had a hugemongous party with all of his highschool friends. Mckay took Seth to the hot springs at like 11:00 at night, the little one where Naked Mo was last time or whatever his name was. Hollis and Alex just got home last week. He stayed overnight and went to their homecomings. We had the primary program. Seth was precious, all the kids were precious. We were all set to go to Lindsay Roberts homecoming then realized we didn't have enough gas so we stayed home. The kids played games at Hunts while Mckay and Dad and I had a great talk about life and stuff, girls, school, careers. Dad gave Mckay a blessing.

Joseph cut my hair. Don't worry, I asked him to. We've been doing a lot of family haircuts lately. It's funny.

Saturday was also girl's pref. The Friday before after Annie's federation piano competition we stopped at the BRAND NEW D.I. BY RIVERTON HOSPITAL and I bought two SICK ghostbusters mining coveralls. Joseph and his date and Jake and her friend spent Saturday building proton packs out of junk boxes of wires, cords and outdated electronics from the basement. AWESOME!

What do you need? Do you need anything? How can we support you better? Do you want us to send you anything, anything at all? Please tell! We will do ANYTHING for you!

Our hearts are with you every second of every day. We pray for and think of you constantly. You are doing more good than you know. Your letters are lessons, your Spirit a sermon, your Mission is a message! You may feel like you are just getting ready now, but you are already teaching the gospel to all of us!

We love you sweet Spencer! I hope you have a super great fabulous week filled with the Spirit of your consecration and the Love of your Savior!!

22 Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. aCourage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into bsinging. Let the cdead speak forth anthems of eternal praise to the dKing Immanuel, who hath ordained, before the world was, that which would enable us to eredeem them out of their fprison; for the prisoners shall go free.!!

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Love, Mom
