Oh Mooksta! We love you so so so very much!

Did you paint on the painted city for Pday? How is Wang Zhi Qiang? How is Zheng jun yuan, or Eric? Zeng?  Wu Dixiong? Did you tell him we are the only church that can get him a wife FOREVER?
You should have seen us screaming and cheering when we heard about Elder Hongvilai passing off his first three lessons. (How do we say his name exactly??)

I love so much what you said about the Atonement. I love Mosiah 3:19 when it says that the Atonement is the vehicle for us to sanctify ourselves. It is the tool to change all of us in to Christlike beings! I'm so grateful for how God is in the details.

Oh, Mook, we went to Courtney's farewell today. The Spirit was SO STRONG. She was incredible. Here are some notes:

She said when she read her call she was nervous until she read the words, "You are hereby called as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints".  She said as she heard these words the spirit FLOODED her with gratitude.   She said she didn't care where she went after that, she just wanted to be a missionary for the Savior.  She said she was so grateful, so blessed to be part of the rescue.  She wants so serve and share, this gospel has brought her so much peace, hope and joy. She told an awesome story about a missionary in Germany.

She became very emotional as she talked about her family being sealed a little over 3 years ago in the Temple.  She feels like the Lord hashelped her so much to find the path and the pure joy. She wants to help others feel the happiness and joy.

She quoted a lot from Elder Holland's talk "The Rewards of a Mission. One of his promises is that angels will be around you to bear you up.

She said it is the complete and pure love of the Savior that she is so passionate about. Because of Heavenly Father and the Savior we can have eternal life with our families.

It was INCREDIBLE!

Did I tell you the story of Tiffany Aston? She was held up, and the kid demanded all their money and their phones.  They gave them, then Tiffany said, "We are representatives of Jesus Christ, do you want to steal from Jesus Christ?" He went 30 feet then turned around, came back, and gave their phones back. SO AWESOME!

We have had a great week.
  • Monday was full of summer joy. The kids were so excited to be free. They were full of plans and projects and stuff they wanted to work on.
  • Tuesday I ruined it all as I laid down the law with the chores, and I cried, and they cried, and everyone was miserable.  I rock. This is the day that Mom ruined it all.
  • The boys made bucket covers for their trek buckets for young men's.
  • Wednesday, I told the kids for service we were going to go up to Grandma Jan's to paint the decks. 5 hours later, in 96 degree weather, those kids finally quit. I was so proud and happy I could have cried. They did not complain, they just worked.
  • Seth is a hoarder. He's been dragging special things home from the free garage sale at Julie Peterson's.  We are now the proud new owners of a Christmas tree, in addition to the camping clothes washer and 6 new backpacks from last week. Sticky fingers like his brother Mook, but at least you left that one shirt on the side of track for a week before you brought it home.
  • I want to be a great person, but it's taking all my time to just be a person. Shoot.
  • Friday we boated with the Hunts.
  • Saturday Spen, Joseph, Annie and Seth helped the Child's build their basement all day.
  • Seth threw up in the Pepperwood pool and closed the whole thing for an hour. Everyone was getting out and their was a little boy with two sets of goggles on, one on his forehead, and his towel like a superhero towel who didn't really want to get in and take his swimming lessons. He said "Hooray for the kid that pooped!"  You can imagine how our family has enjoyed reliving and repeating that.
  • Spen decorated our room, and we got him back with pictures of Grandma and Grandpa Jello's wedding, pageant pictures of me,  baby pictures of Annie and lots of special things. We got the dangus of the week back.
How we love you precious Son.  You light up all of our lives.  are starting a new program where we give Dangus pounts .4 things that are awesome things that are spectacular things that are fabulous things that make us laugh things that are incredibly creative things that are very much alike. This child has earned a lot this week.
