How was your week? I'm so excited for all your news! We've been praying for Sandy and Mr. Boulder!
Spencer is so so sweet to our new little friend Lara. She always wants to be right next to him. He is just doing everything so well. Today he taught sharing time, there were nearly 50 kids in there. It was quite overwhelming for me. He was awesome. He asked for tylenol then taped it on his forehead, then talked about how you have to get the scriptures inside to do any good. A girl asked him to Sweethearts a month ago and he hasn't answered her yet! Other than that, he is perfect. Kaden came with him to Fairview with the teachers this weekend. He is trying to rock jazz band, but it is pushing him. So is AP lit, but he just keeps going. Oh, and he needs to finish his eagle papers, other than those two things, he's perfect. smiley face.
Joseph is yummy. We've had some good conversations lately. He is growing so much. I think he may change the most while you're gone. He was looking at his muscles in the mirror the other day, reminded me of YOU!!! Love you!! He is just doing, going along, but he is playing in ANOTHER of Nate's bands. Did you like the phone call pic of his epic hair? He may try out for water polo!
Annie is so so yummy. She is so cute with little Chloe. She is so nurturing and loving. It takes us til four to get things done every day, if we get them done because she plays with the baby all day, but that is exactly why we did it! She is learning the most important things. The baby loves Seth, too, so much.
It is so fun to see Seth's mind exploding with reading. He loves reading Michael Vey, so we often get him through school with reading a chapter in between lessons. The kid hates to write. It takes moving a few constellations to get it done sometimes. He is so precious. He thinks so deeply and has a very tender heart.
Coy is so fun. He is relaxing a little and I am so grateful. He came home pretty stiff. I think he thought if he just doesn't allow himself to feel much, and just toes the line, faithfully obedient, he won't get derailed. I wonder if he felt like his feelings would betray him so he needed to ignore all of them. He is learning that is not a great plan, and he is allowing himself to feel everything, both good and bad, and just throw your arms out and say "Life! I love you!! Come what may and love it!" He is doing very well at BYU. He doesn't love computer programming, but he likes it. Is that enough for a career? What do you think? Is just like enough?
Dad has had a great week. He took the kids to Fairview, walked on the treadmill, and has been downstairs a lot more. He's working on things.
I just wrote you a ginormous letter during a beautiful snowstorm yesterday. Did you get the Mexico update yet?
I woke up crying in my sleep twice this week just because I am so far away from you. OOCH! It is such beautiful pain. I am so grateful and full of joy that you are exactly where you are, but I MISS YOU!
What have you heard from Kirsten? Did she arrive safely?
Oh sweet boy, I love you so much. Miss you.
