How was Sandy's baptism? Did it happen? We want every detail! We have prayed for her every day this week. We are so excited.
Everything is so fun and great here. Sweet Coy spoke with the high councilor today and also sang in church! He sang O My Father to the tune of If you Could Hie to Kolob, a beautiful arrangement. His talk was awesome. The high councilor spoke after him and quoted your scripture. I just cried a little. He also fasted, he and Haven and Haven's Mom and I fasted yesterday, She is fasting about a mission. It should be an interesting night. They are talking about marriage Mckay. Isn't that crazy?
We are very blessed at home. Yesterday was a very sacred day. We all went to the temple together. Annie got her recommend Tuesday night and went twice on Wednesday, once in the morning with Aunt Nic, Aunt Jen, Dad and I, and then with friends in the afternoon. She was so precious. When she got home she asked if we could go again on Thursday at five in the morning. Saturday we were finally able to go to together as a family. Dad didn't make it. Coy confirmed and baptized all of us. Haven's family came. Annie was so tiny in the water. It went to about her shoulders, but Nic was even closer to the water! Annie is 2 inches taller than Nic. She was so happy.
We started rehearsal for Brigadoon this week. Do you know that story? It is the story of a town cared for and loved by a priest. As the world got more wicked. he prayed that his perfect little town in the Scottish Highlands would be protected. His prayer was answered, and the town only wakes up one day every 100 years. If anyone leaves the spell is broken and everyone dies. Someone can come in and stay only if they truly love someone inside. You can tell now, I'm sure, what happens. Coy is going to die in the play. Too bad, we really like the kid. :).
We had the coolest fireside for family home evening. It was by the big dude from American Ride. He spoke at the Institute. He was so so awesome AWESOME!!!! He was raised in the South. It was so touching how he spoke about how men should treat women. We all cried when he taught us about our wonderful country.
Dad has not felt well this week. He just doesn't do well in the cold weather.
I have a ten page letter coming your way about Mexico, and I'm working on the second. In that one I will share my mission statement with you for this year. I'm excited. Complete acquiescence of will, in joy and celebration of everything!
Seth is the cutest little scout. He ironed his little blue shirt two months before scouts started. He will get his Bobcat this week.
Joseph has started teaching himself the bass guitar. I'm happy for that.
Big News! Annie cleaned her room! Just kidding. She has been keeping it pretty clean.
Oh Mook. I love you. You are delicious. You are delightful.
Questions: New Year, New Goals, What are the best things a Mom can do to help her children?
How can we be a better support to you?
What can we implement in our home that can help prepare our children for missions and for life?
I can't tell you how much we love you. There is no way. I am so excited for the new year, to be better. The Savior purchased for us a safe place to practice being like him, with a way to wash away our sins but keep the lessons! Life is glorious!
