Hi Scrumptious Pumpkin Muffins!

I have SO SO SO SO MUCH to share with you.  My whole life and all of eternity! We LOVED the baptism pictures last week!

Life is exciting and delightful and crazy around here.  Here are a few updates:

  • Yesterday we had the precious experience of doing some service at Blaine Parry's.  He told us how he didn't used to pay his tithing, then in the 1980's he decided to try it. He was always scraping by and in a lot of debt. He said after tithing he got amazing jobs and paid off his cars, his house, bought 10 tractors and saved $20,000 dollars for a mission. He had another huge incredible miracle I'll send you in snail mail.
  • We had an incredible testimony meeting today. Jared Morse bore his testimony and read the definition of prayer from the Bible Dictionary and asked us to pray for him, testifying that it is prayer that gives God the opportunity to bless us with blessings He is already anxious to grant but the granting is conditional upon our faith and our asking for them.
  • Tonight we had the Beckstrands over for dinner and to watch the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.  Our fridge went out and we found out the hot water heaters were leaking right when they showed up. We were trying so hard to be impressive.
  • A lot of the week I have had such precious conversations with Coy. He wants so much to do everything right in this relationship.  He is so pure, so without guile. He wants to give everything to God. I'm so proud of him, but it is a strange kind of terrifying wonderful to see him holding hands and putting his arms around a beautiful girl.
  • We are working hard on Spen's eagle project. Joseph started playing the drums in Bam Bam's Brass with Nate. Spen made jazz band pianist!  We LOVED the SilverRush concert this week, too.  It is hard to go to SilverRush stuff and not see you there.
  • Are you getting letters from Jens? Rufus? Josh? if not, tell me, and I'll fix that. Are they getting yours?
  • We had our ward party Friday night, we performed at a Riverton event with NAP Monday, and Spen played for Specialty Painting's Christmas party Sat. Lots of music. It's fun.
  • We said goodbye to Wesley Saturday morning. He pulled us together and bore his testimony and said how much he knows this church is true and what an amazing experience he's had here. He was able to take the sacrament a few weeks ago. He cried with joy.
  • You are such a precious gift to this mother. I love you with all of my heart. You are one of the most amazing most beautiful things that has ever happened to me.
  • How is Kirsten's mother? Can you please tell us what you know?
  • It was John's birthday this week. We went down and sang to him and told him things we love about him. He is awesome.
  • We have a precious little Lara here that needs to go home. She is a sweet handicapped lady that has been hanging out with us. I told you a little about her last week.  She is Michael Jackson's biggest fan. So I better go.  I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!
Longer letter later!
Love, mom
