Hi Scrumptious Pumpkin Muffins with cream cheese puff souffle tarts of love and sprinkles! Aunt Nic calls the little circle sprinkles "hundreds and thousands". Isn't that darling?

How are you? You are so precious to me!  Where is your new companion from? We need to know everything about him. Where is he from? How long has he been out? What color is his toothbrush? Does he still have his adnoids? Give us the run down. Send us the goods.

What can we send for Christmas for you? Do you have any requests?

  • We just got home from TREK fireside.  Spen gave him a done Good talk yu hear? It wuz spirchual n sweet n synseer. He rockin it.
  • We just had Haven's family over for family night, cabbage rolls(sausage peppers and rice rollled in bok choy)  and the bean game. They are fabulous. Do you remember Laura Beckstrand? The microphone lady at the plays? Do you remember Luke and Haven? We had lots of fun and it felt like we were all at home.
  • Seth's lesson was epic. He had a puppet behind the blue bulletin board with 20 pages. On most he had written a letter on the back and printed the same scripture on the front of each.  After our contest with a rep from each team answering his multiple choice questions (You get a toy, do you say "I don't like that toy" or "I'm grateful for that toy"). It was intense.
  • Annie taught a beautiful family night lesson on the Sacrament last Monday.
  • We had a day that everyone decided they were deathly ill and all stayed home from school and watched Harry Potter.
  • A lot of our energy has been spent this week on Pie Night for the ward. I delivered 60 invitations. It was Fun!!! Games and pie!
  • I was super proud of Wesley, Colby and Jake Christensen on Friday night! They dressed up in formal attire and took beautiful girls to Murray Arts Center and did ballroom dancing! Coy actually didn't go with them, he is swing dancing with Nate and Nic so they had practice for that.
  • Annie had four migrains this week. We're not sure what is causing that.
  • We had a super super neat night on Thursday! We were able to attend the temple with Nic. He's preparing to leave right before Christmas. It was a beautiful session and after he said "that was awesome!". I loved that comment.
  • We had an incredible home school day and learned all about the pilgrims. When they were loading up the first time the captain disappeared. He betrayed them and the next thing they knew the soldiers were throwing them all in jail.  Soon the women and children were let out, but the men were in jail for months.  When they were let out they tried again and the men went out to the Dutch boat they had hired to load everything in and as they got out to the boat they turned to see soldiers approaching the women and children who were standing on the shore. The Dutch captain said if they went back for their families his boat would be confiscated. He set sail.  They sailed away looking at their wives and children on the shore. They did not see them again for 5 years! 5 years!  It was 16 years before they sailed to America and then half of them died that first winter.  There were a lot of miracles.  An Indian tribe which was so horrible they killed every single white person, man woman or child that they saw on sight.  Mysteriously a plague had come in and wiped these indians completely out, all but one, sasquatch.  He was kidnapped twice and taken to Europe and learned so much. When he came back his people were completely wiped out. He helped the pilgrims so much. Interesting amazing and wonderful stories. Did you know we had an ancestor that was banished with Roger Williams from Massachusetts and then helped to create Rhode Island, based on religious freedom.
  • Spencer missed human dodgeball to record for the silver Rush Cd. They have a soundcloud for their band.
I'm so glad you get some pumpkin pie on the other side of the world!  I had a neat inspiration this week. I just pictured the Savior saying to someone "Are you still here?"  Smiling with tears as he reminds this person that he has said no to some of the things that person has asked for in prayers, that they've had cancer or struggles, or a thousand sufferings, but the Savior says "You still follow me even though I haven't taken your pain away".  And then this person says "You didn't stop when you asked Heavenly Father to let this cup pass and he said no. I'll stop loving and obeying when you do, I'll stop and give up when you do my wonderful Elder Brother".

i love you my darling precious wonderful scrumptious baby boy. You can bet we will pray for everyone on your list. You are one of my most beautiful gifts from heaven.

love you love you love you love you! Mom
