Hello Precious Brother! I love you so much! We miss, love, talk about and pray for you all the time! You are such a great writer! What are you going to do with all the talent oozing out of your epidermis in every direction? I am just so glad I get to cheer for you as you live your life and be a part of it!
It has been an exciting day for us, we kind of opened business today, over the next few days it is starting up. We are praying as if it all depends on Him and working as if it all depends on us. I am so proud of Jeff, he has just done so incredibly well with everything. I think he is a genius.
The first phase of the business includes salesman calling 500 resumes a day from hotjobs, and selling services such as resume pre-verification (done by the job hunter), personal websites, and resume reviews and writes by a professional editor. Jeff has just figured it all out. He is my hero.
Other than that, we are just having so much fun with our kids. We have been taking Coy over to the church parking lot, and aside from a few black eyes (jk), he is driving the BMW (big mormon wagon) quite well. He thinks he knows everything now. I always thought it would be fun to teach a kid to drive. It is TERRIFYING BEYOND BELIEF! He may go to a high school that focuses on math and science, Itineris, and also awards an Associate Degree at the same time as a Highschool diploma. We're looking into that. He is fun. His playlist on his blog is so eclectic. He loves music. He is SO FUN. We love his comics and booklists. He shocked the hondas right off of me when he signed up for DEBATE! I still can't believe it. We turned that thing in as fast as possible so he wouldn't change his mind.
Mook is up at Brighton right now with the middle school snowboard program. I HOPE he is loving it. Puberty is hitting hard, he is tired a lot, kind of emotional, confused and a little bit tall. I want to kick him in the toooshy and kiss him on the head all at the same time. (I can do it, too, because I'm so completely groovy). He's not doing a lot of extra right now, still violin lessons and student government, and that's about it, which is good. I think kids should be able to spend as much time unconcious as possible in the 7th and 8th grades.
Spen went to school beamin' with his big huge worm science project in tow yesterday. He did such a good job. I think we kind of stereotyped him as an artist and a sports guy, but he has loved this project. I pray that I may never limit my children with labels, but just give them wings to soar. Sounds pretty, doesn't work :). I'm just putting some money away for counseling. He's loving his Jr. Jazz team and doing really well. He is so sweet and quiet, but tears it up in sports and outside with the boys. He is a treasure.
Joseph Ross is a funny. He always surprises me. He is fun in home school. I think I kept him home half to figure him out and sometimes I think I know less about him then when we started. His interests are so varied and he has such a different way of looking at life. He is saving up for a ripstick and he wants an underwater turtle or a reptile of some kind. Last year he asked for a pet bat for Christmas. He and Annie are fightin' like Nacho and the little devil twins right now. Separate rooms aren't enough, they need separate lean-to's in separate countries.
Annie is so curious about the world. She asked me questions all the way to get her Kindergarten shot today, for which she was very very brave. She asked "everyone always says 'heart attack', but I dont' know exactly what that means..?" "If I don't get the shot today, will I get the disease tomorrow? " She is trying to earn money for a carseat she wants to buy for her doll. She gets a quarter every time she stays all night in her own bed. It is painful that it is taking so long to get there, and a little sad that she is sleeping in her own bed, but both things are good for her. She is excited to give out her first school Valentine's tomorrow.
Seth is talking his little brains out. It was like he waited until his second birthday, then just started talking like crazy. He called Mom last night and talked for 10 minutes. He is just so beautiful and fun and lights up our lives. He is NOT sleeping in his own bed. He makes us laugh and he is so bossy.
We are feeling the Lord's love so much in our lives. I love my new calling teaching Relief Society, love the study and the stretch, miss the scouts. Every single day of life is a gift, and we can't wait to pay a generous fast offering when we get some money to thank the Lord for being with us every second these last six months. We love you! We're working on the same work over here, our six little converts. God bless you amazing brother! Have a good week! Jana
