Spen's science project will answer the question..."will worms really eat my garbage?"  We have 1000 new red worm pets IN THE KITCHEN to find out!  He is going to feed, water, and keep them healthy, and we are weighing and taking pictures of all the food we give them, then calculating the landfill savings on a large scale.  In the summer we'll use the worm compost on one garden box and not another with the same crop, and see if this stuff is really as fabulous as it is supposed to be.    The squeamish may want to skip picture 4 :).
