Here's a tender mercy story for you. We were invited to the temple openhouse, and the invitation sat on our front table, and we were praying about making our temple sacrifice, studying temples, getting so excited, and then WE MISSED THE OPENHOUSE! We didn't go as a ward like we did with the Draper, and I didn't realize it closed three weeks before dedication for cleaning. I was devestated, heartbroken, feeling like such a loser. I had the chance to have my family inside the temple that will be our assigned temple for years to come and didn't make it when it's 7 inutes away? I found out at church and came home and fell to my knees bawling in the bathroom, and seriously, just then the phone rang, and Jeff asked if we could use some special tickets to attend the dedication IN THE TEMPLE, ON FRIDAY, WITH PRES. MONSON. I just want to thank Heavenly Father for this sweet tender mercy, and for loving the losers like me. It was such an incredible experience. Our bishop had handkercheifs sewn with the temple and EACH CHILD'S NAME!
