Mookie Poppins! Mckay has been cast as "Bert" in the school play! He is excited to help create his own one man band. It is a very very good thing he doesn't have to kiss, we're grateful Sister Poppins is prissy.

You know how teenage boys find a kind of food that they eat every hour and a half to get them through to the next meal? Well, Coy has invented the "1000 Island Potato". He branched from Ranch to feel the zeel of the tang of the Thousand Island Zing on a good old baked potato. I think he's had 7 this week as a "snack". Spencer has a new freind, Zac, that moved in Quinn and Miriam's old house, and with the advent of warmer weather his rollerblades seem to be on all the time. He was knighted and given the keys to the kingdom at school on Friday for passing off all of his times and division tables. He is an outside guy. Joseph is crazy, and I think if and when we finish our basement apartment he will miss it the most. Jeff and I are mourning the loss of space for foam wars (where the boys beat each other up with swim noodles) and lazer tag, monkey in the middle, wrestling and spaznastics. Annie still thinks it's funny that we're born naked, and she is really changing, she's grown a lot in every way lately. Seth is a fire engine. Whenever something doesn't go his way his siren goes off, and everyone for a fortnight in every direction has no intelligible thought pattern. He loves to say "OOkkk, ookkk" with a very German accent and show us the amazing world we take for granted. Other than that our dog got a haircut, we swept the garage, bought a new plant, re-financed at 4.375%, watched Johnny English on Clear play, bought eggs from Garners, and Coy and I finished to Kill a Mockingbird. That is SUCH A GOOD BOOK! We're also finishing Sam Levenson's "Everything But Money" but we put it down to read "Lightning" by Percy Jackson. February's getting to me, I can't wait to play in the dirt. It is the dark before the dawn for me.
