We always get a kick out of Coy's vocabulary. He often includes mispronounced words that he's come across in books, but not in real life. The other day he turned to a friend of Spencer's and said "Tanner, the way you said that was almost comical." That is so Coy, delivered with a perfectly straight face. Spencer said he wanted to be a lawyer this year because he thought Coy got better candy from all of the lawyers in Pepperwood, and Coy said he would sue him under copyright laws. When Mckay was reading in an animated manner at morning devotional Coy said, "Mckay, your voice is much too heroic." He is so fun.
Annie was talking about all the things Seth could be for Halloween and she said, "maybe he could be a jack in the pants!" She knew it wasn't quite right so she repeated it a few times trying to figure it out, then finally got it right.
Spence started the bass! It's two feet above his head and we have to put the seat down in the van to haul it over to school twice a week. It's great. Branson came over and taught him a few groovin bass lines.
Mckay's goal this week is to enter every single category in reflections, Seth learned to crawl last night after he took three perfect steps, Annie was so excited to go to a wedding over the weekend (anything romantic just lights her right up), Joseph learned to play "heart and soul" on the piano and he plays with his whole body, and we are way too blessed to be stressed but we still fit it in somehow!
